How does a project run?+
Brief, concept and storyboard, then design and animation with fixed feedback rounds. At the end you get the finished material in every format and resolution you need.
What does a 3D product video cost?+
Packages start at €2,500 for a compact clip and go up to €13,500 for a photorealistic production with sound design and a purpose-built scene environment. All figures are net and subject to 19 % German VAT, and they are entry prices: what a project finally costs depends mostly on scope and usage rights. Bespoke projects are quoted from the brief.
How long does a product animation take?+
Depending on scope: compact spots in one to two weeks, larger 3D productions in three to six weeks. If a deadline is tight, I'll tell you straight away whether it works.
Do you work outside Berlin and Potsdam?+
I work out of Potsdam and I'm happy to come to you for meetings in Berlin and the surrounding area. Production itself runs entirely remote: briefing and reviews by video call, work-in-progress as a link. That's why clients across Germany, Austria and Switzerland get the same service as those next door.
Do you produce AI video?+
Yes. For look development, imagery and complete AI films I work with ComfyUI, Flux and current video models. Where precision on the product matters, classical 3D rendering stays the foundation — the right mix depends on the project.
Which formats and resolutions do I get?+
Every common aspect ratio (16:9, 9:16, 1:1) up to 4K — cut for TV, website, YouTube and social media. How many versions are included is set by your package; each further one is a separate edit and billed by effort.
Who owns the usage rights?+
Once payment is complete you hold the agreed usage rights to the finished film. Web and social are included in every package; TV broadcast is agreed separately, where the price depends on territory and term. Scope and duration are put in writing beforehand.
What do you need to get started?+
Product data (CAD files or good photography), your brand assets and a sentence or two about what the film should achieve. I'll take it from there.
What if I don't have CAD data?+
Then I build the product from photographs, drawings and dimensions. That is work in its own right and is not covered by any package price — depending on complexity it takes one to several days, quoted separately up front. Send me whatever you have; I'll tell you after a first look whether it's enough.
How does payment work?+
From the Standard package onwards: 50 % on order confirmation, 50 % on approval. The Basic package is invoiced once after delivery. Payment terms are 14 days.
